Using the shaving product
As for the use of the shaving product, you may as well lather it with a badger in a bowl provided for this purpose, or simply lather it directly on its holder. The soap does not overflow and requires little water to take its foamy shape to apply to shaving areas. After applying a pre shaving oil to prepare the skin for shaving, you can spread the foam over the areas you want to shave, then pass over it with your blade. If you want to make several passes, especially for an old-fashioned shave, you will probably need to reapply the shaving foam to perform an optimal shave without cuts.
